Vanda (Nana) De Barr

 Peacefully at home at the tender age of 98 years with her loving family. A devoted wife of 64 years to the late Thomas Harold De Barr, loving mother to Yvonne, adored Nana to Michaela & Emile & a well – loved auntie to Susan & Karen De Barr. Sadly missed & lovingly remembered by all her loving family & friends.

Thank you to all her friends in England who wrote to her & kept her cheer on receipt of a letter. Thanks also to the friends of Michaela who shared in these precious moments in her short stay in Ireland in becoming her friends too.

A remembrance service will take place at Springfield House when time allows where a plaque will be placed in loving remembrance of Vanda (Nana) in the garden where she walked every day during lockdown.

Due to current covid – 19 restrictions a private cremation will take place.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
