O’CALLAGHAN (Cork) On 4th December 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully, in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff at the Cork University Hospital, VANESSA, Coach Street, Middle Parish and late of Blackpool. Dearly beloved daughter of Ellen (nee Hurley) and the late John, much loved mother of Chelsea, Jerry and Kyle, loving sister of Linda, Marcella, Aisling, Claudia, Ian, Damian and the late Keith, Shane and Jonathan.

Sadly missed by her heartbroken mother, children, sisters, brothers, family, aunts, uncles, sister-in-law Liz, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Sunday (8th December) from 1.00pm to 4.00pm and on Monday (9th December) from 10.00am, family in attendance at 4.00pm with Rosary at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday (10th December) at 10.00am in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Paul Street. Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.

The family would like to acknowledge the care given to Vanessa by the Doctors at the C.U.H., especially Dr. Paudie, the Gardaí, and all those who attended Vanessa.
