Velta Conneely
(née Riekstins)
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Velta Lilija Conneely, (née Riekstins), Whitethorns, Westport Rd., Clifden, Co.Galway. July 9th 2025.
Peacefully, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her parents Lilias and Helmuts Riekstins.
Sadly missed by her loving husband James (Jimmy) Conneely, her sister Helen Riekstins, her children Paul, Irene, Rory, Fiona, Didi, Maeve, Noel, and Emma, her sons and daughters in law, Chanelle,Shane, Sarah, Andrew and Adam, and her adored grandchildren, Jason, Clodagh, Mark, Evan, Orrie, Noah, Freya, brothers-in-law, and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, her family in Latvia, and a wide circle of friends near and far.
May her gentle soul Rest in Peace
Funeral Service for Velta will take place on Monday July 14th in Christ Church Clifden (H71VY80) at 12pm. followed by burial in St. Thomas' Churchyard, Moyard. (H91PF80)
