Abbott, Vera, (née Sargent), Raheny Dublin , September 26th 2025

In her 98th year, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family, under the compassionate care of the staff of Hardwicke ward, Beaumont Hospital.

 

Predeceased by her loving husband Bob, and sons David and Ivan.

 

Sadly missed by her loving daughter Joyce and son Mark. Vera will be forever loved and missed by her grandchildren Hannah, Lucy, Sarah, Ben, Christina, Bill, Ruth, Sophie, Daniel, Luke, & the late James, daughters in law Paddy, Aideen & Cora, her 10 great grandchildren, brother Harold, extended family, and many friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff of St Patrick's Nursing Home Baldoyle, for their wonderful care of Vera over the past two years.

 

Funeral Service Wednesday 1st October at 10am in Sutton Methodist Church, followed by cremation at Dardistown Crematorium at 12.30pm.
