The death has occurred of
Vera Bailey
(née McDonnell)
Bailey (Hillcrest Rise, Blarney Road, Cork), on Saturday April 11th 2026, peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Cara House; Vera (née McDonnell), beloved wife of the late Kevin and much loved mother of Amanda, Alan and the late Veronica. Sadly missed by her heartbroken daughter, son, grandchildren Stacey, Ben, Brooke, Faye and Sophie, great-grandson Kayden, brothers, sisters, sister-in-law and best friend Veronica, daughter-in-law Sharon, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Visitation at O’ Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Wednesday April 15th from 5.00pm to 6.00pm, with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s on The Hill Church, Knocknaheeny on Thursday April 16th at 11.00am. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.
