The death has occurred of
Vera (Esther Veronica) WHELAN
(née Meagher)
Morell Court, Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Rochestown Avenue, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. Peacefully, after a long illness, borne with grace and dignity in the excellent care of the staff of Naas General Hospital. Beloved mother of Ted (Eddie), Dorothy, Philip and Declan. Very sadly missed by her loving family, brother Willie, sons-in-law Paddy and Ken, daughters-in-law Julia and Aisling, her ten grandchildren, their husbands, wives and partners, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 10am in The Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount followed by Cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium. Family flowers only please (no lilies). Donations, if desired, to The Friends of St. Brigid’s Hospice, Moore Abbey, Monasterevin.
