Vera Hegarty
(née Black)

Growtown, Dunshaughlin, Meath

Vera passed away on the 18th of March 2026 peacefully in the excellent care of the staff at Elm Green Nursing Home, Castleknock surrounded by her loving family. Vera will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Denis of 56 years and loving children Geraldine, Michael and Fiona.

 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her adored seven grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, extended family, friends and neighbours.

 

May Vera's gentle soul Rest in Eternal Peace.

 

Vera will repose at McEntaggarts Funeral Home, Dunshaughlin A85DE70 on Friday evening the 20th of March at 5pm until 7 pm. Funeral Mass will take place in The Holy Trinity Church, Ratoath at 11 am on Saturday followed by burial in adjacent cemetery. Those who are unable to attend can follow theFuneral Mass for Vera on the below link.
