Vera McCoy, The Village, Moorehall Lodge, Ardee, Co. Louth and of Bohernamoe, Ardee. 26th January 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of staff and friends in Creevy House at Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross.

Predeceased by her loving husband John, parents Jack and Alice Dullaghan, sisters Kitty (Boston), Detta and brother John (both died in childhood). Vera will be sadly missed by her loving sons, Peter, Martin, Michael, Sean, Paul, Seamus and Gerard. her Sisters Phylis (twin) and Ann, brothers Anthony and Patsy, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, daughters-in-law Breedge, Lilly, Tanya, Diane, Geraldine, Mairead and Helen. Cherished Nanny to Anthony, Bronagh, John, Ciara, Ronan, Darragh, Laoise, Cian, Tarryn, Jenna, Aoife, Eoin, Liam, Cathal, Eimear, Amelia and Seamus, great grand-children Sophie, Harry, Donal, Ewan, Fergal, Leah, Amelia, nephews, nieces, relatives and her many friends especially Teresa.

Vera will repose at her son Michael’s residence Riverstown, Ardee, for safety reasons there will be a shuttle bus service in place with parking at Halpenny’s yard (Eircode A92 WD98) on Tuesday (28th) from 2.00pm to 8.00pm and on Wednesday (29th) from 4.00pm to 8.00pm. House Private on Thursday Morning Please. Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Nativity of Our Lady, Ardee arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am which can be viewed via the Parish Webcam link below. Burial afterwards in Ballapousta Cemetery.
