McDonagh (née Lawless) Vera (Greendale, Raheny) and formerly of Drimnagh, Dublin 29th June 2021, peacefully in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Francis Hospice Raheny and surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her devoted husband Jimmy, loving brother Dan and their parents Samuel and May Lawless. Sadly missed by her loving family, sisters in law Breda, Jean, Vera and Marian, her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Keith, Mairead, John, Alan, Linda, Andrew, Caroline and Helen and their spouses and partners.  Besotted great aunt to Sophie and Senan, dear friends Mary, Jackie, Kieron, Betty, Dermot, PJ, Marie and the Fogarty family with special mention of Sylvia a life-long friend to Vera. Vera’s wide circle of her relatives, close friends and amazing neighbours.

Rest in Peace

Vera will be reposing at Frank Jennings Funeral Home, Greendale Road, Raheny, on the 1st July from 3 – 5pm. Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a family funeral service will take place on the 2nd July at 11am in St. John the Evangelist parish, Greendale Road, Raheny, followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery.

After a life well lived may Vera be reunited with her beloved husband Jimmy, her brother Dan and parents in paradise.
