Vera Murphy
(née Cawley)
Vera Murphy, née Cawley, St. Mary’s Villas, Sunnyside, Drogheda. 26th August 2025. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Sonny and daughter-in-law Sallyann. Beloved mother of John, Barry and Kieron. Vera will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters-in-law Mary and Sophie, grandchildren Dairín, Jack, Annabel and Seán, sisters Phyllis and Irene, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May Vera Rest in Peace.
Reposing at her home on Wednesday and Thursday evening from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Friday in St. Mary’s Church, James St., Drogheda and can be viewed live at www.stmarysdrogheda.ie Burial will take place afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.
