Verette O’Doherty (nee Geary) (Ballinacurra, Limerick). May 23rd 2023 peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Philip. Dearly loved mother of Ursula (Byrne), Tommy, Philip, Donough and Gerard. Sadly missed by her loving son-in-law Dermot, daughters-in-law Melanie, Elizabeth, Joan and Tanya, her beloved grandchildren Nikka, Seoirse, Ben, Alex, Emmet, Kian and Kiya, brothers Gould and Jim, sister Ria, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Garry, Jack and sister Nina.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Wednesday (24th May) from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue on Thursday (25th May) for Requiem Mass at 2pm followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.
No flowers please, donations, if desired, to the Cancer Society of Ireland.
