Veronica (Bonnie) McEvoy

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Veronica (Bonnie) after an illness bravely borne, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Naas General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on 29th June, 2025.

Predeceased by her parents Danny and Minnie McEvoy and her brother Seamus.

Bonnie will be forever loved and missed by her sister Ber, brothers Stephen, Danny, Johnny and Marty, sisters-in-law Joyce, Claire, Rita and Marian, nieces Niamh, Emily and Kate, grandniece Grace, nephews Stephen, Bernard, Andrew, Conor, Niall and Seán, grandnephews Thomas, Stephen, Dominic and Fionn, aunt Violet (UK), cousins, extended relatives, wonderful neighbours and many great friends.

Reposing at her home, 21 McDonnell Drive, Athy (R14 E038) on Tuesday evening (July 1st) from 5pm until the conclusion of the Rosary at 8pm. Removal at 10.30am on Wednesday morning (July 2nd) to arrive at St. Michael's Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am, see livestream link http://www.parishofathy.ie. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's New Cemetery, Athy.
