Veronica Butler
(née Pegley)
BUTLER (née Pegley), Veronica (Chickie) (Newcastle, Co. Dublin and formerly of Leixlip, Co. Kildare) June 27th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Tallaght Hospital. Beloved wife of Liam and much loved mother of Melissa, Karl, Colin, and Elaine. Sadly missed by her loving husband and children, grandchildren Sarah, Jayden, Zoe, Lia, and Adam, daughter-in-law Joanne, brothers, extended family, friends, neighbours, and all of the amazing staff at Lisheen Nursing Home, Rathcoole.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Celbridge on Tuesday evening (July 1st) between 5 pm and 7 pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (July 2nd) to St. Finian’s Church, Newcastle arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 pm followed by burial in Newcastle Cemetery.
