Murtagh, (née Carolan) Veronica (Von) late of Glasnevin – 11th August 2025 (peacefully) at home in her 93rd year.

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Alfie, her sister Nellie, brothers William and Peter, sisters-in-law Breda and Carmel and her nephew Matthew.

 

Deeply mourned by her loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and extended family, especially her adored niece Catherine and Von’s best friend Pauline.

 

Von was deeply grateful for the unwavering support of her wonderful neighbours, especially Evelyn, Mary and Ann during her illness; her exceptionally kind housekeeper Jenny; her wonderful carers from Danu who looked after her in her final illness; and for the dedicated care of her G.P. Dr. Ciara Lambe and the St. Francis Hospice Palliative Care Team, Blanchardstown.

Von will repose in her home on Sunday (17th August) from 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm. Her Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning (18th August) in Our Mother of Divine Grace Church, Ballygall at 10 o’clock followed by Burial in Dardistown Cemetery.
