The death has occurred of Very Rev. Canon Andrew Johnston, Retired Parish Priest of Foxford. Co. Mayo and former President of St Nathys College Ballaghaderreen and recently in the loving care of Innis Ree Lodge Nursing Home, Ballyleague, Co. Roscommon peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
Beloved son of the late Arthur and Mary, Abbeyquarter Ballyhaunis, Co.Mayo, brother of the late Ambrose and Josephine (Phelan Glenamaddy); deeply regretted by his nephew Eamon Phelan, Tuam nieces Bridgetta Mc Hugh, Curraghboy Athlone, Aine Tierney, Foxhall Tuam, Concepta Keadin, Williamstown, Andriana Mc Bride, Birmingham, grand nephews and nieces, cousins, Bishop Brendan Kelly and clergy and former parishioners of the diocese of Achonry, his relatives and close lifelong friends.
Rest in Peace
Reopsing in St. Michaels Church, Foxford on Thursday evening from 5.30pm with Evening Prayer at 8pm. Concelebrated Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 midday followed by Interment in the Church Grounds.
