Very Rev Canon Patrick Lonergan

The death has occurred of Very Rev. Canon Patrick Lonergan. Pastor Emeritus, Garrison/Belleek Parish, Garrison, Co. Fermanagh and formerly Shirley Arms Hotel, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan. 13th December 2019. Peacefully, at the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Ellie, his brothers Colm, Noel, Oliver and Jim, his sisters Kathleen and Ann, his brother-in-law Patrick and sisters-in-law Mary, Colette and Alice. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his brother John, sisters-in-law Moira and Bernie, his nepews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, Bishop Larry Duffy, retired Bishops, clergy and parishioners of Clogher Diocese and especially the parishioners of the parish of Garrison/Belleek.

Removal to Mary Queen of Peace Church, Garrison, Co. Fermanagh, on Saturday, 14th December, arriving at 6:45pm. Reposing at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Garrison,  on Sunday, 15th December, from 2pm until  prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, 16th December, at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
