Very Rev. Fr. Eamonn O'Brien

The death has occurred of Very Rev. Fr. Eamonn O'Brien, retired Parish Priest of Rochfortbridge, Co. Westmeath and formerly from Ballykilmurray, Tullamore, Co. Offaly, (in his 98th year), passed away peacefully on the 28th August in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home, Mullingar. Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Kathleen, brothers Dan, Fr Michael, Paddy and Rory, sisters Sr Peter, Rose, Kathleen and Sr Dympna. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his sister Sr Clare (Holy Faith Convent, Glasnevin), brothers Joe (Ballykilmurray) and Peter (Cork), sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, his many friends at Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home, Bishop Deenihan, retired Bishop Smith, priests of the Diocese of Meath and a wide circle of friends.

May Fr Eamonn's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Fr. Eamonn will be reposing in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge on Tuesday (29th August) from 5.30pm until prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12noon in Rochfortbridge with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

There will be face masks at the Church for those who wish to wear them and please use hand sanitizer provided before sympathising.
