The death has occurred of
Very Rev. John (Jackie) O'Donoghue
O’Donoghue, The Very Reverend John (Jackie), San Antonio, Texas and late of Whitehall and An Post, after a short illness, October 14th 2016. Son of the late Jack and Nan, beloved brother of Jim, Aidan, Moira (McGann), Father Patrick and the late Donal. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brothers, sister, brother-in-law Gary, sisters-in-law Mona, Winnie and Eileen, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephew, the Archbishop of San Antonio, his brother priests, parishioners, extended family, relatives and many friends.
His remains will arrive at the Church of the Holy Child, Swords Road, Dublin at 10.45am on Friday 28th October. After 11am Mass he will be buried at Mount Venus Cemetery, Rathfarnham.
