The death has occurred of
Very Rev. Nicholas James Irwin
Very Rev. Nicholas James Irwin P.P. Gortnahoe/Glengoole, formerly Borroway, Thurles, Co. Tipperary July 10th, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his father Nicholas and sister-in-law Marian (Irwin). Sadly missed by his loving mother Elizabeth (Betty), brothers and sisters John, Ber, Ted, Ger, Ann, Liz, Michael, Martin and Eamon, their partners, nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins and extended family. Fr Jim will be fondly missed by Archbishop Kieran O'Reilly, the priests of Cashel and Emly diocese and the parishioners of Gortnahoe/Glengoole.
Requiescat in Pace
Reposing in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe on Wednesday evening from 5 o'clock pausing for prayers at 7 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon followed by interment in the Good Shepherd Cemetery.
