Very Rev. Archdeacon Liam O'Driscoll
The death has occurred of Very Reverend Archdeacon Liam O'Driscoll P.E. (Skeagh, Skibbereen and Clogheen /Kerry Pike Parish,) on October 7th, 2021, peacefully, in the tender care of the nurses and staff of Bon Secours Hospital, Cork. Beloved son of the late Con and Mary, brother of Eileen (McGrath), Mary (Fleming), Con, Fachtna and the late Diarmuid, Kathleen and Anne. Deeply regretted by his sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, sisters-in-law June, Carmel and Gabriella, brothers-in-law Pat and Mick, close friend Sr Geraldine, relatives and friends. He will be deeply mourned by Bishop Fintan Gavin, Bishop John Buckley, fellow clergy and parishioners.
In accordance with government guidelines Archdeacon Liam will lie at rest in the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Clogheen on Friday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 2:00pm. Liam's Mass will be live streamed at www.mycondolences.ie.
Archdeacon Liam will lie at rest in the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Kilcoe on Monday from 9:30am to 11:30am followed by Mass at 12:00 noon. Liam's Mass will be live streamed at www.mycondolences.ie. Burial afterwards at Caheragh (New) Cemetery.
In accordance with government guidelines the Churches will be limited to 50% capacity. Condolences can be left at www.rip.ie or at www.oconnorfuneralcork.ie. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to a Cancer charity of your own choice.
