Very Reverend Canon Colman (Colie) O’Donovan PE

Very Reverend Canon Colman (Colie) O’Donovan PE, Youghal Road, Midleton.

Former Parish Priest of Inniscarra, past President of Midleton C.B.S. P.P.U., former Vice President of Midleton G.A.A., passed away peacefully at Fermoy Community Hospital on April 7th, 2025, in his 97th year.

Beloved son of the late Jim and Lily O’Donovan, dear brother of the late Geraldine, Thomas, and Betty, and brother-in-law of the late David Moore.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his cousins, brother Priests in the Dioceses of Cloyne, Bishop William Crean, relatives, neighbours, and wide circle of friends.

Canon Colman will be received into Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Midleton, on Thursday, 10th April, at 6:30 p.m. for evening prayer and Rosary, followed by reposing until 8:00 p.m.

A concelebrated Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, 11th April, at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed: Join Here
