The death has occurred of Victoria (Venie) Rowntree, (née Reid), Turners Hill, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, Thursday, 16th January, 2025.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Harry. Deeply regretted by her much loved children Anne, Trevor, Maurice, Gillian and Robert.

Venie will be very sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Linda, Eva and Gemma, her sister Winnie, sisters-in-law Lillian and Pat, granddaughters-in-law Pauline and Chelsea, her adored grandchildren Owen, Hannah, Luke, Liam, Cian, Mark, Robert, Sarah, Mateo, Rachael, Amy and Isobel, her cherished great grandchildren Harry, Mia, Teddy and Evie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, cousins, her excellent carers present and past and her wide circle of friends.

Safe in the arms of Jesus

Reposing at Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt (A82 R3W2) on Saturday, 18th January, from 4pm until 7pm.

Removal from her home on Sunday, 19th January, to Saint Ernan's Church, Kingscourt, arriving for Funeral Service at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
