Vincent Devine

The death has occurred of Vincent Devine,​​​Donore, Bagenalstown, Co Carlow.

Vincent passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and under the wonderful care of the Nurses and staff of the Nore Ward, St Lukes Hsp Kilkenny on the 8th January 2026. Vincent is pre-deceased by his father John, mother Helen and his brothers Anthony, Francis, John and Kevin.

Vincent will be sadly missed by his loving wife Ellie, daughters Elaine, Michelle and Celine and son Noel, sons-in-law P.j, Ger and David and daughter-in-law Marie, also his adored grandchildren Niamh, Aoibheann, Colin, Darragh, Avril, Eoghan, Caoimhe, Aodhan and Andrew, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Vincents family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Beechwood Nursing home who cared for Vincent with exceptional care and kindness and also the wonderful carers and nurses who cared for Vincent at his home and to Dr Coffey and staff at Bagenalstown Medical Centre.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Bagenalstown (R21 DY66) on Saturday from 2.pm, Concluding with Funeral Prayers at 7.pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday morning at 11.30am in St. Andrew's Church Bagenalstown, followed by burial afterwards in the Cemetery of the Assumption
