The death has occurred of
Vincent GILLANE
VINCENT GILLANE Araghty, Athleague, Co. Roscommon. April 7th, 2026. (Peacefully), at Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon.
Beloved son of the late Joe and Margaret and brother of the late Mary, Annie, Margaret and Joe. He will be very sadly missed by his nieces and their families, his close friends especially the Quigley family, his relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Friday evening from 5 o’c until 6.30 o’c followed by removal to St Patrick’s Church, Athleague. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday morning at 11 o’c. Removal afterwards (via Araghty) to Athleague Cemetery for burial.
