Vincent Norton

Formerly of Carra, Loughrea, Co. Galway.

On Wednesday afternoon, 1st April, Vincent died peacefully with his dearly loved wife and daughter by his side and in the wonderful care of all the staff at Galway Hospice, and the staff at University Hospital Galway.

Deeply mourned by his wife Pauline, his daughter Caroline and son David, his sister Eileen, daughter-in-law Julie, grandchildren Catriona, James and Oisín and great-granddaughter Zofia of whom he was immensely proud. Vincent will be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, many relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents Bridget and Patrick, brother Joe, and sisters Nancy, Mona and Mary.

Tuesday, 7th April 2026

Vincent will lie in Repose at ‘Aras Naofa’ within the grounds of the Church of St. Oliver Plunkett, Renmore on Tuesday, 7th April from 5 p.m. Removal to the Church at 6.30 p.m.

Wednesday, 8th April 2026
