The death has occurred of
Vincent O'Rourke
O’Rourke, Vincent – Greystones, Co. Wicklow, and formerly Kinsale, Co. Cork. Passed away peacefully in his 91st year, surrounded by his loving family on January 6th, 2023, following a long illness. Recently pre-deceased by his beautiful daughter Grace (Veitch). Very dearly loved and adored husband of 62 years to Marka (née Fitzpatrick). Proud and loving Dad to Clodagh (Idaho, USA), Anna, and John (Sydney, Australia), sons-in-law Chris and Martyn, and daughter-in-law Jean. Fondly loved granddad to Philip (Matthew), Stephanie (Juraj), Michael and Joseph, Lisa, Aidan, Thomas, Ben, Samuel, Tegan, Owen and Ella. Beloved great-granddad to Élise, Corbyn, George and Alana.
Also remembering at this time Vincent’s late sister Rita, brother Bernie, and brothers-in-law John and Tommy.
Vincent will be deeply missed by his bereaved wife and children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, in-laws, cousins, extended family (Tommy and Eoin), his close friends, acquaintances and good neighbours.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 10th, at 10am in the Holy Rosary Church, Greystones (which can be viewed on the following link https://gkpastoralarea.ie/online/) after which Vincent will be laid to rest in Redford Cemetery, Greystones.
