The death has occurred of Vincent (Oscar) Connor, 19 Lakeview, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at his residence, in the loving care of his family. Predeceased by his mother Agnes, father Bernard, daughter Patricia, son Gary, grandson Keith, brothers Benny, Gerard, Mickey and John. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, daughters Mairead, Bernie, Jennifer, Lorraine and Kera, son Martin, sisters Bridgie, Phyllis and Bernie, and brother Paddy, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his residence in the presence of his family and close friends. Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Vincent’s funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family and close friends. Friday morning, house strictly private, please.

Remains leaving his residence at 11am on Friday 17th September, on foot via Henry St, Thomas St., and York St., to arrive for funeral Mass at 11.30am in St. Mary's Church, Castleblayney. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Monaghan/Cavan Palliative Care c/o Corrigans Funeral Directors, Castleblayney.
