Vincent Shields

The death has occurred of Vincent Michael Gordian Shields MFH, formerly of Knockanima, Lake Road, Loughrea in the County of Galway, late of the Willows, Athenry in the County of Galway. Loving husband of Majella, devoted father of Aoife and Vincent, cherished grandfather of Molly, Patrick and Maria. Deeply missed by his sisters Mausie, Dottie and Hattie, his brothers Stephen, Tommy, Dan and Andrew,  together with his son-in-law Doug, daughter-in-law Ruth, mother-in-law Rosaleen, sisters-in-law Paula, Pauline, Meg and Fiona  and brothers-in-law PJ, Donal, Brian and David. Sadly missed by his many relatives, friends, staff, neighbours and clients.

Reposing at his residence, the Willows, Athenry on Monday, 18th December 2017, and Tuesday, 19th December 2017, from 4pm to 8pm on both dates. Funeral procession departing the Willows, Athenry and proceeding past his business premises at Cross Street, Athenry on Wednesday, 20th December 2017, for Requiem Mass at the Church of The Assumption, Athenry at 12 noon followed by burial at the New Cemetery, Athenry.
