Vincent (Vincy) Barry

BARRY (Shanakiel, Cork and late of Portland-Lorrha, Co. Tipperary): On February 24th, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his family and in the tender care of all the staff at Bríd Haven Nursing Home, VINCENT (Vincy, former Sergeant in Collins Barracks) husband of the late Mary, loving dad to Charlotte, Jackie, Anne, Junior, Pamela and Denis, brother of Anne, Joan and the late Kevin and Denis.

Sadly missed by all his children, sons-in-law Kieran, Denis, Frank and Pat, daughter-in-law Roisin, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Coburg Street Funeral Home of Jerh O’Connor Ltd. on Wednesday (February 25th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (February 26th) in St. Michael’s Garrison Church, Collins Barracks, Old Youghal Road, Cork.

Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Kilcully.
