Vincent (Vinnie) Flood

Flood Vincent (Vinnie), (Santry, Dublin) October 8th 2024, peacefully. Beloved husband of Philomena (62 years married) and loving father to Anthony Joan and Robert. Sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren Elliott, Conor, Hannah, Aoife, Matthew and Dervla, sister-in-law Marianna, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his sister Joan and brothers Noel and Pat.

A service for Vincent will take place on Saturday afternoon, 12th October, in Glasnevin Crematorium at 1.30pm, followed by Cremation. Donations to dementia research in lieu of flowers at

Now that my time on earth is over, I hope the powers that be will give me the time to climb the highest mountain so that I can look back and see if I walked my way with pride, honour and humility and that I offended no persons so I know I lived my life to the fullest so that I can sleep in peace.
