Vinnie (Vincent) O Hora, Treenagleragh, Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo.

 

March 5th, 2026.

 

Peacefully, following a short illness, in his 93rd year surrounded by his loving family and in the care of the wonderful staff of St. John’s Unit of Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

 

Predeceased by his wife Anne (Healy), his parents James and Alice O Hora, daughters baby Patricia and Ailish, brothers Liam, Nathy, Paddy, Louis, Jimmy, Joe, Aiden (Fr Cormac) and Frank and sisters Kathleen, Sr Mary James and Margaret (Gilmartin).

 

Vinnie will be dearly missed by his heartbroken children; daughters Kathleen (Feerick), Sinead (Tierney) and Louise, sons Vincent and Padraig, sons-in-law Brendan and Pat, daughter-in-law Louise (Mc Nicholas), his adored grandchildren Luke, Éabha, Amélie and Eli, sister-in-law Christine, brother-in-law Martin, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many many friends. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace.

 

Vinnie will repose at O’ Hora’s Funeral Home, Main Street, Kiltimagh F12Y1F7 on Sunday evening from 5pm until 8pm.

 

Removal to the Church of the Holy Family, Kiltimagh arriving at 8.15pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Monday at 12 noon followed by burial in Kilkinure Cemetery, Kiltimagh.
