Downes (Donohoe) (nee Colley) Violet (9th April 2023) (Kingswood Heights, Tallaght) peacefully in her 108th year, in the kind and wonderful care of all the staff of The Burkitt Ward and A&E in Tallaght Hospital; beloved wife of the late Joe and mother of Bernadette, Brian and the late Brendan; Violet will be missed by her children, daughters-in-law Lorraine and Marie, son-in-law Chris, grandchildren Siobhán, Andrea, Brian, Claire, Maitiú, great grandchildren, Diarmaid, Anna, Maya, sister Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Monastery Road, Clondalkin Village on Friday from 3pm – 5pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 am in St. Killian’s Church, Kingswood followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
