O’BRIEN née Fortune, VIOLET, late of North Road, Finglas, Dublin 11, passed away peacefully on the 11th April 2026 at Ardmore Lodge Nursing Home Finglas, surrounded by her loved ones.

 

Pre-deceased by her dearest husband and best friend Ignatius (Loyola) O’Brien (November 2024).

 

Violet will be so sadly missed by her loving niece Philomena (Eberhardt) , grand-nephew Matthew (Eberhardt), dearest cousins Alvean (Jones), Betty and John (Murphy), treasured friends Christopher (White), Nora (Hallinan) and Rita (Kavanagh), extended family, lifelong friends and neighbours.

The O'Brien Family would like to thank the Staff at Ardmore Lodge Nursing Home, Finglas for all their care and kindness to Violet and also to Ignatius at both their times of need. We will always be grateful for your support.
