Vita WHELEHAN
(née Lough)
VITA WHELEHAN (née Lough) ‘Massabielle’, Galway Road, Roscommon Town. March 24th, 2022. (Peacefully); at home, after a short illness. Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Raymond and her two infant daughters Mary and Catherine. She will be very sadly missed by her children Gerard, Paul, Gemma, Georgina, Mary, Raymond and Vita, daughters-in-law Patricia and Noreen, sons-in-law Joe and Ray, partners Micheal and Johnathan, her sister Sr. Bridie Lough, brother-in-law Fr. Mark Whelehan, her 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest in peace.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Friday evening from 5.30 o’c until 7 o’c (walk through only please). Removal from her home on Saturday morning at 10.30 o’c arriving at the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in St Coman’s Cemetery, Roscommon.
