Walter Cannon

It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Walter Cannon. Walter died after a short illness in the exceptional care of the staff of St. Finbar’s ward and the high dependency ward at Galway University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Áine, brothers Seán, Michael and Séamus. Walter is deeply mourned and will be very sadly missed by his sisters Treasa and Sr. Maura, nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91 V1K8) on Wednesday, 2 August, from 4p.m. with Removal at 5.00 p.m. to the Church of the Resurrection, Ballinfoyle (H91 W298). Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, 3 August, at 10.30 a.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Ballyheane Cemetery, Co. Mayo, arriving at 12.45 p.m. approximately.
