Walter Drake
Late of Irish Steel and Cork Dockyard.
Peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family. Adored and loving husband of Betty (nee Kinevane) doting father of Walden and Romy, devoted son of Rita and the late Walter, much-loved granddad of Willow Ivy.,devoted son-in-law of Marie and the late Denis Kinevane and dear brother of Mary, Elizabeth, Veronica, Kenneth, Rita, Billy, Martin, Theresa, Arthur, Paul, Brian, Martha and the late Robert. Sadly, missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, son, daughter, mother, mother-in-law, granddaughter, Walden’s partner Leigh, Romy’s partner Guile, brothers, sisters, the Kinevane Family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Walter will repose at his home 23 Victoria Estate, Cobh P24 RW82 on Sunday, 19th June 2022, from 5.00 pm with Rosary at 8.00 pm. Removal on Monday, 20th June 2022, at 10.00 am to St. Colman’s Cathedral for 11.00 am Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Colman’s Cemetery.
