Walter Leahy

Walter passed away peacefully on the 14th of April 2026 surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Fuschia Ward, St. Columbanus Nursing Home.

Beloved husband of Sheila and Loving father of Dan and Henry. Sadly missed by his family, daughter-in-law Karen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Walter is pre-deceased by his parents John and Bridget, his sisters Mary and Kate and his brothers Louis, Jack, Paddy, Matt and Donal.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Killarney this Thursday the 16th of April from 4:30pm to 6:30pm followed by removal to St. Mary's Cathedral. Requiem Mass will take place at 10:30am on Friday morning followed by a private cremation.

The Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/killarneycathedral.
