Walter Murphy

MURPHY (Glounthaune & late of North Main Street, Cork): On March 26th, 2026, unexpectedly but peacefully in the presence of his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff of Cork university Hospital, WALTER (ex Victualler) loving husband of Breda (Née Dunphy), beloved father of Ruth, Louise, Shirley and John, brother of Gilda, John, Eleanor, Edward and the late George and Daphne.

Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, sons-in-law Damien, Neil and Bernard, daughter-in-law Marika, his adored grandchildren Molly, Paddy, Tommy, Robyn, Max and Sophie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends, in particular his good friend Ashley.

 

Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on Monday (March 30th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (March 31st) in the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune.

Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Little Island.
