The death has occurred of Walter Finnerty, Pearse Rd., Sligo and San Jose, California. Walter (Wally) Finnerty passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 in San Jose, California after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer.
Walter was born on July 21st, 1963 to Pat and Nancy Finnerty, Pearse Rd., Sligo, Ireland. Walter was the youngest of a family of 9, predeceased by his sister Elizabeth, brother Sean, and his parents, Pat and Nancy. He is survived and greatly missed by his loving wife of 36 years Evelyn Finnerty and children Kate, Pearse, Neil and Grace, his siblings Mary, Ann, Catherine, Bernie, Paddy and Tony, his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends in all corners of the world.
A Celebration of Life for Walter will be held on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Saint Philip the Apostle Church, 725 Diamond Street, San Francisco.
