Walter (Wally) Thompson

Thompson, Walter (Wally), Finglas, formerly Estate Cottages, Mount St., late of Erin’s Isle, and Corrstown Golf Club. Passed away 7th February 2026, peacefully in Blanchardstown Hospital.

 

Wally will be very sadly missed and remembered always by his loving wife Peggy, children Deirdre, Wally Jnr, and Tracy, grandchildren, Kevin, Aisling, Alanna, Allyson, and Conor, great grandchildren, Noah, and Luca, daughter-in-law Joan, sons-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Wally’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Main St., Finglas, D11 ET7P on Wednesday 11th February from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal to St. Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, on Thursday, morning, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery.
