BANKS (Blackrock & formerly of Turners Cross, Cork): On March 23rd , 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and the exceptional care of the staff at the Bon Secour Care Village, Mount Desert, WILLIAM beloved husband of Annmarie (née Healy), much loved dad of Colin and Keith, daughter-in-law Emer, grandson Isaac, predeceased by his brothers and sisters Jimmy, Tom, John, Lena, Josie and Anna.

Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Wednesday (March 25th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (March 26th) in St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock.

Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to the Bon Secour Care Village, Mount Desert.
