Mount Elliott, New Ross and formerly of Rossmore Cross, Co. Tipperary.

Bill died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, 28th February 2026. Predeceased by his sister Phyllis, his brothers John, Mikey, Tom and Paddy and Claire's partner Tommy.

Sadly missed by his wife Anne, son Paul, daughter Claire, daughter-in-law Wendy, grandchildren Mark, Matthew, Rebecca, Hannah and Rosie, sister-in-law Anne, nephews, nieces, friends and former colleagues in Teagasc.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Cooney's Funeral Home, (eircode: Y34 FK44) New Ross, on Tuesday, March 3rd from 5pm concluding at 7pm.
Removal from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 4th to St. Mary & Michael's Parish Church, New Ross, arriving for funeral mass at 10am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, Dublin , on Thursday, March 5th at 1.30pm in The Garden Chapel.
