The death has occurred of
William (Bill) Granville
Granville, William (Bill) - October 8, 2024, passed away peacefully at the Mater Private Hospital after a long illness, beloved husband of Pauline, adored father of his daughter Karen and his late son John who sadly passed away in 2021, predeceased by his brothers Larry, Tommy, Brendan and his sister Ann; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, son-in-law Colm, daughter-in-law Taryn and his fantastic grandchildren Liam, Lucy, Joe, Kate and Marina. Deeply regretted by his sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, wonderful neighbours and his great Clontarf Golf Club friends.
Reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Friday evening (October 11) with family in attendance from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Requiem Mass on Saturday morning (October 12) at 10 o’clock in Corpus Christi Church, Homefarm Road. Funeral thereafter to Glasnevin Cemetery.
Sincere thanks to the caring staff in St Benedict’s Ward, especially Dr Khan, Prof. Egan and Dr O’Síoráin as well as his wonderful GP Dr Robert Scanlon. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
