Bill slipped his final moorings peacefully on Sunday 3rd of March surrounded by his loving wife & family in the loving care of all the wonderful staff at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. Dearly beloved husband of Ita (nee Kelly) & much loved father of Paul, Sarah, Yvonne & Stephen. Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons & daughters, brothers John & Arthur, sisters Mary, Claire, Bernie & Louise, daughters-in-law Tracey & Lee, sons-in-law Mick & Gary, grandchildren David, Mike, Eoghan, Ellen, Rhys, Ben, Alex, Sam, Evan, Neve, Jessica & Luke, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, his former work colleagues both on land & at sea & a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Cahill's Funeral Home, Newtown Road, Cobh (Eircode P24Y383) on Tuesday 5th of March from 5.30pm with rosary at 7pm. Removal on Wednesday 6th of March at 10.30am to St. Colman's Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass followed by cremation in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
