William (Bill) Leahy

LEAHY (Cork) On 14th September 2023, peacefully, after a short illness, in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff of Cork University Hospital, WILLIAM (BILL), late Harbour View Road and Collins Barracks. Dearly beloved husband of the late Sheila (nee Byrne) and dearly loved father of Sheila, Noreen, Donal, Marion, Eleanor, Christine, John, Rose and William, adored granda and great granda.

Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers, sisters-in-law Noreen and Eleanor, brother-in-law Paddy, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Coughlan’s Funeral Home, Shandon Street on Saturday (16th September) at 11.00am, family in attendance from 4.00pm with Rosary at 5.00pm. Requiem Mass on Monday (18th September) at 11.00am in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery, Blackrock. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Marymount Hospice.
