The death has occurred of
William (Bill) McHugh
William McHugh better known as Bill, Clooncondra, Straide. Bill passed away peacefully in Mayo Hospice on the 22nd January 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary McHugh, by his brothers Andy (Irishtown), Patrick (Clooncondra and Palmerstown), and his sister Mona (Kiltimagh). Bill will be sadly missed by his wife Bridie, stepdaughter Kathleen also by his niece Eileen, nephew John and by his neighbours and wide circle of friends. A special thank you to all the staff of the Galway Hospice and FACT Alzheimers Club Foxford.

Reposing in the Michael Davitt Centre Straide on Thursday 25th from 5pm with removal at 7pm to Saint Peter and Paul's Church, Straide. Funeral mass at 12pm Friday 26th with burial afterwards in the New Cemetery. No flowers by request, donations can be made if desired to MayoHospice.ie. House strictly private.
