The death has occurred of
WILLIAM (BILL) MURPHY
MURPHY (Wycherley Terrace, College Road): On October 22, 2024, unexpectedly but peacefully, at the Bon Secours Hospital, WILLIAM (BILL) (late of Cork County Council and founding member of the Lough Credit Union). Beloved husband of the late Maura (née O’Sullivan), loving father of Miriam, dearly loved grandad of Brian and Claire, dear brother of Fr Con and the late Fr Jim, Mick, John and Mary and father-in-law of the recently deceased Peter Guirey. Sadly missed by his loving daughter and her partner Brendan, grandchildren, brother, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Turners Cross on Thursday (October 24) from 5pm to 6pm.
Requiem Mass on Friday (October 25) at 11am in Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough which will be streamed HERE
Funeral afterwards to St Finbarr’s Cemetery, Glasheen Road.
