William (Billy) Canney

William (Billy) Canney, born in Ard Na Gaoithe, Cong, Co. Galway and lived in London and South Coast of England. Died March 11th 2024, aged 76 years. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret Canney, his daughter Veronica, brothers Mick, Stephen, Sean, Patrick and sisters Mary, Cathleen, Julie, survived by his daughter Denise, grandchildren Eugene and Kelsey, sister Bridget, sister in law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Mass for William on Thursday at 12 noon in Saint Dominic’s Priory, Southampton Road, London. NW5 4LB.

William will then make his final journey back to Ireland.

Arriving at Saint Mary of The Rosary Church, Cong, for Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwards in Old Abbey Cemetery, Cong. Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Burke Funeral Directors, Clonbur Facebook Page.
