Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on the morning of his 85th birthday, in Oakwood Nursing Home, Roscommon. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Bridget, his infant sister Mary and his first wife Rita. Billy is sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa (née Giblin), sons John, Adrian, Noel and Brian, daughters Mary (Cullen), Linda (Beirne), and Susie, son-in-law Peter, daughters-in-law, Denise and Sharon, brother-in-law P.J. Conroy, sister-in-law Sarah, his fourteen cherished grandchildren, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Brady’s Funeral Home, Elphin on Monday (7th Oct.) from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Elphin (via Church View). Funeral Mass on Tuesday (8th Oct.) at 11.30am. Billy will be laid to rest afterwards in Killapogue Cemetery (via Ardlavagh/Gardenstown)
