Billy passed away on 22nd November 2024, peacefully at home, in the tender care of his family after an illness fought with great dignity and courage. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Brophy), much loved father of Deirdre and Mairead and adored grandfather of Abby, Amelia, Fionn and Peadar. Billy is deeply regretted by his sons-in-law Anthony and Peter, sister Margaret (Corcoran), brother-in-law John, sisters-in-law Joan and Kitty, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Predeceased by his parents Jack and Margaret and sisters Ann, Bridget and Mary.

Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Monday (25th Nov) from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyfoyle. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
